In Saturday's non-league contest, the host George Washington Patriots basketball team scored a big 75-48 triumph over the Parkersburg South Patriots.
The Patriots (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans go into the non-league contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Morgantown smashed Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV), 75-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 7. Parkersburg South will attempt to better on its 13-7 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 4-16 record after their 92-58 non-league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV).
