In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions basketball team scored a close 52-50 triumph over the Southeastern HomeSchool Cardinals.

The Stallions (23-9) will now prepare for their battle against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics (North Charleston, SC). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 18-9 record. In their last battle, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics tipped Palmetto HomeSchool (Greenville, SC), 54-50, in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now own a 27-5 record.
