The Granite Bay Grizzlies edged the host Elk Grove Thundering Herd volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Grizzlies face the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League game, on Monday, March 3. Granite Bay will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).
The Thundering Herd (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA). The Huskies go into the Delta League game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Sheldon nudged Kennedy (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
