The Canyon Comanches lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host Downey Vikings to 4 in the Comanches non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Comanches now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Yorba Linda for a Crestview challenge on Tuesday, March 4.

With the loss, Downey falls to 0-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to El Segundo (El Segundo, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, March 3. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-3. El Segundo lost 16-12 in their recent non-league game against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA)
