California High School Lacrosse - Peninsula overwhelms Downey

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Peninsula Panthers lacrosse squad scored a good 14-3 triumph over the Downey Vikings.
The Panthers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Comanches go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Canyon knocked off Beckman (Irvine, CA), 13-4, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 1. Downey will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Highlanders go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 22-16 non-league win over West Ranch (Valencia, CA).
