In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Westwood Redhawks soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers.
The Redhawks (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against West Florence (Florence, SC). The Knights go into the AAAAA Region 5 outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, West Florence got by Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC), 7-3, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Horse Creek Academy Stallions (Aiken, SC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 4. Batesburg-Leesville will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
