In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Hoggard Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Sanderson Spartans.
The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, West Forsyth Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 3-3, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 3. Sanderson will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
