With the triumph, Birdville improves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Hawks host Denton (Denton, TX) to play the Broncos in a 5A Region I District 7 game on Tuesday, March 4. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 6-7. Denton lost 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Pearce (Richardson, TX)

The Falcons now hold a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Byron Nelson for a 6A Region I District 4 game on Tuesday, March 4. Timber Creek will play a Bobcat squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Marcus (Flower Mound, TX). The Bobcat record now stands at 8-6.
