Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their softball team overcome the host Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX), 8-0 in a non-league outing.

The Jaguars now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lancaster for a 6A Region II District 11 outing on Tuesday, March 4. Horn will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Life Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 15-1.

With the loss, Bishop Lynch moves to 4-5 on the season. The Friars travel to Poteet (Mesquite, TX) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 4-4. Poteet lost 5-1 in their recent non-league outing against Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX)
