In Saturday's non-league test, the Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) softball squad got by the visiting Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX), by a count of 3-2.

Next, the Bobcat meet the Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 test, on Tuesday, March 4. Byron Nelson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX).

The Marauders (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Farmers go into the 6A Region I District 5 test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Lewisville was nudged by Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 14-0, in a non-league test.
