The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) and the visiting Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS), observed Caledonia's softball team notch a victory over Germantown by a final score of 9-1.

The Cavaliers (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, New Hope gained a win over South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS), 12-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 3. Germantown will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Wesson (Wesson, MS).
