In Saturday's non-league test, the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL), by a tally of 13-0.

Next, the Cavaliers clash with the New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 3. Caledonia will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 3-4 record after their 12-3 non-league win over South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS).

The Stallions (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Pickens County (Reform, AL). The Tornadoes go into the 1A Area 9 test with a 4-0 record.
