The Carroll Tigers softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting San Benito Greyhounds to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Raymondville for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. Carroll will confront a Bearkats team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Ray (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, San Benito moves to 8-3 on the season. The Greyhounds host Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 12-4. Calallen lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Deer Park (Deer Park, TX)
