The Tremont Eagles triumphed over the visiting Columbus Falcons softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 1. Tremont will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
The Falcons (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Shannon (Shannon, MS). The Red Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Shannon was routed by Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS), 20-8, in a non-league challenge.
