The Cypress Lakes Spartans softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Spring Woods Tigers to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cypress Woods for a 6A Region II District 16 battle on Tuesday, March 4. Cypress Lakes will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Cypress Creek (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Spring Woods moves to 4-11 on the season. The Tigers travel to Madison (Houston, TX) to confront the Marlins in a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Marlins come into the battle with a record of 0-3.
