Edna Cowboys (Edna, TX) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights (Austin, TX), 8-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Edna upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Shiner (Shiner, TX) to play the Comanches in a non-league game on Saturday, March 1. The Comanches enter the game with a record of 10-2. Shiner won 19-5 in their recent non-league game against Veritas Academy (Austin, TX)

In their next game, the Knights confront the Concordia Cardinals (Round Rock, TX) in a TAPPS Division III District 3 match, on Monday, March 3. Hill Country Christian School of Austin will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.
