Texas High School Softball - Elysian Fields bounces Sabine

The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Sabine Cardinals to 1 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Queen City for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. Elysian Fields will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Garrett Memorial Christian (Hope, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Sabine moves to 0-4 on the season. The Cardinals host Tatum (Tatum, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 16 battle on Monday, March 3. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 2-5.
