Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Fruitvale Bobcats (Fruitvale, TX), 14-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Wortham upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Kerens (Kerens, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 1A Region III District 20 game on Tuesday, April 1. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 7-5.

The Bobcats now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Martins Mill for a 1A Region III District 20 game on Monday, March 3.
