In Saturday's non-league test, the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL), by a count of 15-5.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 3. Tuscaloosa County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL).
The Rockets (6-9) will now prepare for their test against McAdory (McCalla, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, McAdory toppled Hoover (Hoover, AL), 5-3, in a non-league test.
