The Salado Eagles softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Georgetown Eagles to 4 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lampasas for a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, March 4. Salado will confront a Badgers team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Georgetown moves to 5-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 23 battle on Tuesday, March 4. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 2-9. Pflugerville Connally lost 22-2 in their recent non-league battle against Temple (Temple, TX)
