The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Thrall Tigers (Thrall, TX) and the host Granger Lions (Granger, TX), observed Thrall's softball team prevail over Granger by a tally of 8-0.

The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Bumblebees go into the 3A Region III District 19 bout with a 6-7 record.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Rosebud-Lott Cougars (Rosebud, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Granger will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Bellville (Bellville, TX).
