Texas High School Softball - Hamlin held off by Westbrook

The Westbrook Wildcats got by the host Hamlin Pied Pipers softball squad by a count of 9-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Westbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 15-8 non-league win over Marfa (Marfa, TX).

The Pied Pipers (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX). The Buffaloes go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Cross Plains held off Westbrook (Westbrook, TX), 10-5, in a non-league challenge.
