In Saturday's non-league test, the Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hargrave Falcons (Huffman, TX), by a count of 8-0.

Next, the Indians meet the Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Santa Fe will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 7-6 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX).

The Falcons (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Longhorns go into the 4A Region III District 19 test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Hamshire-Fannett was routed by Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX), 7-0, in a non-league test.
