The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Holliday Eagles (Holliday, TX) and the host River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX), observed Holliday's softball team get by River Road by a tally of 7-3.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX). The Tigers go into the 3A Region I District 7 bout with a 7-6 record. In their last bout, Jacksboro was routed by Coahoma (Coahoma, TX), 4-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Tulia Hornets (Tulia, TX) in a 3A Region I District 1 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. River Road will attempt to advance on its 12-9 season record.
