The Itawamba Agricultural Indians softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Russellville Golden Tigers to 0 in the Indians non-league win on Saturday.

The Indians now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amory for a 4A Region 1 battle on Monday, March 3. Itawamba Agricultural will confront a Panthers team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Russellville moves to 0-5 on the season. The Golden tigers travel to West Morgan (Trinity, AL) to confront the Rebels in a non-league battle on Monday, March 3. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 0-3. West Morgan lost 4-0 in their recent non-league battle against Austin (Decatur, AL)
