Texas High School Softball - La Vernia sneaks past John Paul II

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting La Vernia Bears softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the John Paul II Centurions.
The Bears (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Somerset was nipped by Jourdanton (Jourdanton, TX), 5-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Centurions confront the Rosehill Christian Eagles (Tomball, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 6. John Paul II will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
