Texas High School Softball - Life Oak Cliff bested by Lancaster

The Lancaster Tigers triumphed over the host Life Oak Cliff Lions softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX).

The Lions (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against UME Preparatory Academy (Dallas, TX). The EAGLES enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, UME Preparatory Academy overcame Molina (Dallas, TX), 9-3, in a non-league challenge.
