In Saturday's non-league test, the Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX), by a count of 7-1.

Next, the Wolves meet the Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 1. Laredo LBJ will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Texans go into the test with a 4-7 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to College Park (The Woodlands, TX).

The Chaparrals (8-4) will now prepare for their test against London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, London held off Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX), 14-1, in a non-league test.
