The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) and the host Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX), observed Longview's softball team get by Lindale by a tally of 12-5.

The Lobos (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Beckville Bearcats (Beckville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 1. Lindale will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Harleton (Harleton, TX).
