The Mansfield Tigers got by the host Wylie East Raiders softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Boswell Pioneers (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Mansfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Keller Central (Keller, TX).
The Raiders (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against North Garland (Garland, TX). The Raiders go into the 6A Region II District 9 challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, North Garland was nudged by Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX), 22-1, in a non-league challenge.
