The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX) and the visiting Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), observed Mesquite's softball team prevail over Seguin by a tally of 11-1.

The Skeeters (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against DeSoto (DeSoto, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region II District 11 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, DeSoto was routed by Waco (Waco, TX), 16-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Seguin will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record.
