The Pleasant Valley Raiders softball team scored 14 runs and held the host Wellborn Panthers to 0 in the Raiders non-league win on Saturday.

The Raiders now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 4. Pleasant Valley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-5 league loss to Weaver (Weaver, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Wellborn moves to 2-7 on the season. The Panthers host Ranburne (Ranburne, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, March 3. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Ranburne won 9-8 in their recent non-league battle against Cleburne County (Heflin, AL)
