The Saltillo Tigers the visiting Ripley Tigers softball squad by a count of 6-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) in a 6A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Saltillo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS).

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Braves enter the 4A Region 1 challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Tishomingo County edged Shoals Christian (Florence, AL), 8-1, in a non-league challenge.
