Arizona High School Softball - West Point bounces Safford

March 1, 2025: Avondale, AZ 85392

In Saturday's non-league match, the host West Point Dragons softball team scored a tight 8-2 win over the Safford Bulldogs.

The Dragons (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Westwood was routed by Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ), 10-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 3. Safford will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Superior (Superior, AZ).
