In Saturday's non-league test, the South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the host Vancleave Bulldogs (Vancleave, MS), by a count of 10-1.
Next, the Tigers meet the Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS) in a 6A Region 1 test, on Monday, March 3. South Panola will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Conquistadors go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 20-5 non-league loss to Senatobia (Senatobia, MS).
The Bulldogs (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS). The Greyhounds go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Ocean Springs toppled Greene County (Leakesville, MS), 14-0, in a non-league test.
