The Big Spring Steers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Slaton Tigers to 1 in the Steers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Steers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Shallowater (Shallowater, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 10-1 record. In their last match, Shallowater gained a win over Pecos (Pecos, TX), 11-1, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (1-12) will now prepare for their match against Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Rangers go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record.
