The Chinle Wildcats baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Hopi Bruins to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ). The Redskins go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, St. Johns gained a win over Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ), 13-3, in a non-league match.
The Bruins (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Window Rock (Fort Defiance, AZ). The Fighting Scouts go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Window Rock was overwhelmed by Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 15-5, in a non-league match.
