In Thursday's non-league game, the host Stuart W. Cramer Storm baseball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the West Iredell Warriors.
The Storm (2-1) will now prepare for their game against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders go into the Big South 3A game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, South Point tipped Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Warriors (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Foard (Newton, NC). The Tigers go into the Western Foothills 3A game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Foard was overwhelmed by Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 10-3, in a non-league game.
