In Thursday's non-league match, the host West Central Area Knights basketball team scored a good 54-44 triumph over the New London-Spicer Wildcats.
In their next game, the Knights meet the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 12. West Central Area will attempt to move on its 21-4 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 25-2 record after their 67-42 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN).
With the defeat, New London-Spicer moves to 13-13 on the year.
