North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Porter Ridge tipped by South Mecklenburg

In Thursday's non-league contest, the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse team the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), by a score of 16-14.

With the win, South Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Sabres host St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to battle the Indians in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 16. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 2-2.

With the defeat, Porter Ridge drops to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Patriots in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 15. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Independence lost 15-1 in their recent league outing against Providence (Charlotte, NC)
