Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Iowa Park Hawks (Iowa Park, TX) and the host Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX), witnessed Iowa Park's softball squad tip Bishop Lynch by a count of 10-3.

The Hawks now sport a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Llano for a non-league match on Friday, March 11. Iowa Park will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Luling (Luling, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Bishop Lynch moves to 3-1 on the season. The Friars host Ursuline Academy (Dallas, TX) to meet the Bears in a TAPPS Division I District 2 match on Friday, April 1.
