Utah High School Softball - Herriman can't get by El Toro

In Thursday's non-league contest, the El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) softball team held off the host Herriman Mustangs (West Herriman, UT), by a margin of 2-1.

With the triumph, El Toro moves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Chargers travel to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to play the Rams in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 10. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 2-0. Rio Rancho won 13-2 in their recent non-league contest against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM)

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 11. Herriman will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Barons come into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ).
