In Thursday's non-league outing, the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos softball team scored a nice 18-7 win over the Westview Knights.
Coming up next, the Fighting Lobos battle the West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 11. La Joya Community will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Dragons enter the outing with a 2-4 record after their 16-15 non-league win over McClintock (Tempe, AZ).
The Knights (0-5) will now prepare for their outing against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Stallions enter the 6A Southwest outing with a 5-2 record.
