St. Mary's Academy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Landry-Walker (New Orleans, LA), 17-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bonnabel for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15.
With the loss, Landry-Walker falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The travel to Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA) to battle the Penguins in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 17. The Penguins enter the challenge with a record of 6-1.
