Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Presentation Panthers (San Jose, CA), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14. Prospect will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Presentation falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to battle the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
