The Shelby County Wildcats baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Citronelle Wildcats to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Clemens for a non-league outing on Friday, March 10. Shelby County will face a Jets team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Jets record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Wildcats face the LeFlore Rattlers (Mobile, AL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 30. Citronelle will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record.
