The Mitchell Mustangs baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Palmetto Tigers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Lecanto (Lecanto, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Lecanto tipped Central (Brooksville, FL), 7-0, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL). The Thunder go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Out-of-Door Academy was overwhelmed by IMG Academy Gray (Bradenton, FL), 7-6, in a non-league match.
