The Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) baseball trounced the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), 13-2 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Timberwolves encounter the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 13. Montgomery Central will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 5-4 league loss to Lee County (Sanford, NC).

The Hornets now sport a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Surry for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 11. Salisbury will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-1.
