Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) and the host Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX), saw Southwest's baseball squad knock off Poteet by a count of 13-1.

Coming up next, the Dragons play the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 11. Southwest will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Indians/Squaws enter the battle with a 5-6 record after their 11-0 non-league win over San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX).

The Aggies now possess a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mathis for a non-league battle on Monday, March 13. Poteet will play a Pirates squad coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Karnes City (Karnes City, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 5-6.
