In Friday's non-league outing, the Charlestown Townies (Charlestown, MA) basketball squad edged the visiting Westwood Wolverines (Westwood, MA), by a count of 51-45.
The Townies (21-4) will now prepare for their outing against Malden Catholic (Malden, MA). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 21-2 record. In their last outing, Malden Catholic held off Leominster (Leominster, MA), 55-38, in a non-league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 16-10 record.
